Interesting article from the CBC. It talks about the need for better masks with new Covid variants and potentially using medical grade masks in a public setting. One concern with that approach is the potential for additional strain on a critical supply chain.
Double masking is also mentioned with the suggestion that it may not be as beneficial as it looks.
Our opinion is that wider testing of non-medical masks will provide consumers with better information on mask filtration rates and breathability as well help manufactures improve upon their current designs.
